Mine planning establishes haul roads, benches, and stable working platforms before production begins. Motor graders and earth compactors prepare and stabilise surfaces to support large mining fleets operating across the pit.

Blasting fragments overburden and rock to enable efficient excavation in the next stage of mining. The process is supported by high-precision drilling equipment that ensures consistent blast patterns across large benches.

Haulage moves excavated material between pits, dumps, and processing points. VPR operates a fleet of high-capacity mining tippers carrying 18–35 CuM per trip, supporting large-scale material movement.

Evacuation ensures mined material is sized and transferred for downstream transport or processing. Crushers and loaders support this stage by breaking and moving material from pit operations to dispatch systems.

Drilling prepares the rock mass for controlled blasting by creating accurate blast hole patterns. VPR deploys rig-mounted drill machines with 150–160 mm drilling capability, designed for deep penetration in hard formations.

Once blasted, material is excavated and loaded for transport across the mine. Our fleet of hydraulic excavators and loaders ranges from 1–14 CuM bucket capacity, enabling continuous high-volume extraction.

Overburden and waste material are systematically deposited and shaped to maintain dump stability. Bulldozers up to 354 HP and soil compactors around 11 tonnes are used to spread and consolidate dump formations.
